Spring Time Growth Spurts

Spring time!! Woohoo!! Babies!!!

look how much the tomatoes grew since 6 Oct. blog !

first cycle tomatoes on right, second cycle seedlings on left inside coke bottles for protection from harsh coastal winds; we've planted some gooseberry seeds very near the new seedlings - let's see if they come up!

little baby basils growing with the tomatoes

we've lined the top pathways with flat stones collected from the beach in order to stop run-off of rain water - every trip to the beach these days comes back with a backpack full of stones

spinach seedlings under coke bottles; daisy is picking up, and in the front two circles I've planted young oregano and marjoram propagations; the blue flowers that are dotted around the garden in these photos are wild and seeding themselves

spinach and nasturtiums are companions, very happily so in our garden!

evening walks in the garden to settle the first stones in the pathway
